Breathwork isn’t a one and done thing…

It is so normalised to expect things instantly in our culture, but healing and growth takes time.  Just like we wouldn’t expect to have one therapy session and be “done,” Breathwork is a process of ongoing exploration and integration. Our bodies carry years of stories, and it takes patience, courage, and compassion to unravel them.

Give yourself permission to move at your own pace, and to nurture yourself through the process. There’s so much to be gained when we allow the journey to unfold without pressure or expectation. You deserve the time it takes.

When clients ask how often they should schedule a session, I always say, it depends - on where you are at, on what is happening for you, on your capacity (and of course your finances). I have been using conscious connected breathwork personally for 13 years, and the number of personal sessions I have had has varied greatly. Some years I have had sessions fortnightly and monthly, whereas other years I have had a session every 6 months. There is no right or wrong.

I have found however, through my own experience,  that investing in multiple sessions, or a package, is a helpful way to commit to the time it takes. It allows you to explore at your own pace, build momentum, and develop a meaningful connection with both your own process, and the practitioner working alongside you. Not to mention, there is a significant discount when you purchase a package.
