Rediscover what makes you feel alive!

Play is as essential as sleep or nutrition for living a vibrant, balanced life!

Rediscover Joy, Connection & Vitality Through Play!

When was the last time you felt a moment of pure joy? Dancing to your favourite song with your eyes closed. Being swept away by a burst of creativity. Feeling sunshine on your skin as you walk barefoot through the grass.

Moments like these remind us what it means to feel truly alive.
But when life is overwhelming, joy can feel far away - like something you don’t even notice, let alone make time for.

That’s where The Play Reset comes in.

I get it - life is heavy and relentless. But play and joy are vital, and you deserve to experience them. This isn’t about adding more to your plate; it’s about rediscovering small moments that help you feel alive again.

The Play Reset is an invitation to step into a lighter, more joyful space. To reconnect with the power of play and bring back the joy that often gets lost in the demands of adulthood. It is more than just a challenge - it’s a shift in how you move, think, and experience joy.

The Play Reset has been experienced by over 30 people through two live rounds - with several returning for a second round. Now I am making it available as a self-paced program you can start anytime.

This self-paced program includes simple practices you can explore in your own time, at your own rhythm. You’ll receive a downloadable PDF filled with easy Play Prompts, Daily Dares, reflections, and links to video and audio content - including YouTube movement videos and Soundcloud “Storytime” recordings.

When I began incorporating play into my day to day, it didn’t just make life more enjoyable, it helped me feel alive again!

What people say

  • “The Play Reset was surprising, unique, and innovative. It helped me to prioritize little moments of fun in my everyday life and reconnect with activities that I had forgotten I love. Paula guides you through simple activities that give you permission to prioritise play. It’s been fantastic for my wellbeing."

  • “Paula created this fantastic, affordable course to really show how little we need to keep that sense of play and playfulness in our lives. With the seriousness of adulting, parenting, and the world around us, having someone just remind you that it takes only a moment and a quick shift to tap back into an awesome state of fun and lightheartedness. Thanks so much for this week’s course. Can't wait to do another one.”

  • “You’re reintroducing a really important part of life that so many of us have lost touch with. I’m an OT and can’t believe I’ve not focused on or opened my eyes to the importance of this as a key pillar of life and wellness. As you say, play helps regulate and get through difficult times. My eyes have been opened to a lost world. Massive thank you.”

  • "You are such a warm, welcoming, and inspiring woman to host this. Loved seeing your playfulness, creativity, and thoroughness. Also felt it was all very trauma-informed and invitational - I never felt that I had to do things a set way, lots of options."

  • "As adults, we forget to move our bodies in playful ways. Sometimes that might be from pain, a perceived lack of time, responsibility, past experiences, or fear. The Play Reset was a beautiful reminder that there are many ways we can play and enjoy our bodies through movement, and that they are easy to integrate into our lives. We can reconnect to the child inside of us."

  • "Thank you, Paula, for creating space to help bring play into our lives! I’ve really enjoyed letting myself go and doing things that I usually think only the children should do! I’ve jumped in the waves, played in the ocean, rode rollercoasters with the children, and reminded myself to just have fun! I’ve absolutely LOVED allowing myself the time and space to bring the joy of play into my home a bit more.”

  • "Paula’s Play Reset added fun back into my life! I loved the feeling of being a little bit nervous and excited to do the daily dares. It reminded me not to take life so seriously!”

  • “I learned a lot about myself & how my past shapes my play personality today. The daily challenges were fun, and it was great to see others get serious about play!”

Why Play Matters

Play isn’t frivolous - it’s foundational.

🌟 Regulates your nervous system
🌟 Boosts creativity & problem-solving
🌟 Deepens connection (with yourself & others)
🌟 Relieves stress & restores energy
🌟 Builds presence, curiosity & joy

In my hardest moments, play helped me through. Tiny pockets of joy were often the thing that kept me grounded.

The Play Reset is proof that joy doesn’t have to wait for “the right moment.” It can be woven into the smallest parts of your day.

This program won’t fix everything, but it will help you rediscover what makes life feel lighter, more meaningful and more you.

Why I created The Play Reset

I’m a 44-year-old mum to three incredible kids (aged 15, 13, and 10). We’re a neurodivergent, unschooling family, which naturally lends itself to a playful way of life, but it can also be deeply intense.

In 2016, I discovered Parkour at the age of 35, and it changed my life. I realized how creative, curiosity-led movement could be restorative, empowering, and healing - not just physically but emotionally, too.

Then in 2017, I became a single mum navigating homeschooling, running a business, supporting my kids, and a difficult 7-year divorce and property settlement. At times it was overwhelming, exhausting, and relentless.

Even in those moments of overwhelm and exhaustion, though, joy felt accessible to me - not in grand gestures, but in tiny, unexpected ways. Dancing in the kitchen, balancing on a rail - feeling my feet under me, even sorting lego with my kids.

These micro-moments reminded me that joy doesn’t have to be big or perfect to make a difference. They calmed my nervous system, gave me the strength to keep going, and helped me feel more connected to myself and my kids.

I know that not everyone sees joy as reachable when life is hard. And I know talking about prioritizing play can feel like a privilege. But I believe joy is always there, waiting for us, even in life’s darkest seasons.

That’s why I created The Play Reset - to show you how small, meaningful moments of play can be a lifeline. It’s not about fixing everything or ignoring the weight of life’s challenges. It’s about offering a way to find lightness and connection, no matter where you are.

Because joy isn’t something you have to earn - it’s something we all deserve, even when life feels impossible.

Is This for You?

This is perfect if you:

🌟 Feel heavy, and crave moments of lightness.

🌟 Want to challenge the belief that rest and joy are ‘frivolous’.

🌟 Are curious how play can regulate your nervous system and build connection.

🌟 Want to explore what lights you up without pressure or performance.

This isn’t about creating a perfect routine or adding more pressure. It’s about exploring what’s possible, wherever you are in life, with kindness and curiosity.

Imagine This…

By the end of this program, you feel more energized, connected, and hopeful. This can be the beginning of a new way of moving through life!
