Fear & Parkour Workshop

  • May Drive Parkland (formerly Synergy Parkland) May Drive Kings Park Australia (map)

Join me for an evening of challenge-based movement as we explore fear and parkour.

Fear holds us back from doing so much in our life. Fear of ridicule, fear of disappointment, fear of failure, fear of being seen, fear of taking up space, fear of our own power, fear of getting hurt, fear of falling.

But it is in this fear that so much growth happens.  When we can lean into this fear and this discomfort, we are guaranteed to learn something about ourselves, our bodies, our spirit.

Yep, sometimes we will fail, fall, get hurt. But then we learn, we grow, we explore. And sometimes, something freaking wonderful happens.

In this workshop we will look at the physiological responses to fear within our bodies.  We will explore (with curiosity) our self-talk and internal process when we are met with scary and confronting challenges. We will also work together on some very safe and simple movement challenges where we can put what we have explored in to practice.

This will be such a great introduction to the concepts of parkour and challenge based movement!

Cost: $40 per person
