A few things that matter to me as a Breathwork Practitioner…

Hi! I’m a queer, neurodivergent, single mum, unschooling my 3 neurodivergent kids. I am also a Parkour coach and Transpersonal Breathwork Practitioner here in Fremantle, Perth / Boorloo.

While listing aspects of my identity might seem arbitrary, these things shape the values of my work. My commitment is to cultivate a space that is as inclusive and supportive as possible.

Here’s how these things shape my practice as a Breathwork Practitioner:

Accessibility & Inclusivity

It’s important to me that my work is accessible to as many people as possible. If you’re facing barriers to working with me—whether they're financial, physical, or otherwise—I’m here to work with you to overcome them. I welcome collaboration to ensure my work is open and accessible.

In the same vein, I celebrate and welcome people of all genders, sexuality, cultures, and backgrounds. Inclusivity is more than just words; it's about actively creating an environment where all identities are not just accepted but valued and understood. Your voice and your story matter.

Neuroaffirming Practice

As a neurodivergent woman and mother to three neurodivergent children, I intimately understand the challenges of existing in a world that often overlooks or misunderstands neurodivergence. My practice is built on valuing and embracing all neurotypes. Here, your experience is believed, and your perspective valued.

No Med Shaming

Every person’s health choices are respected in the work that I do. Whether incorporating medication into your life or choosing other methods, you will find support and acceptance here, free from judgment.

Social Justice

Social justice is important to me. I strive to create a space that not only reflects but actively promotes justice and equity, recognizing that personal healing is inherently connected to societal transformation.

Challenging Structures of Oppression

I acknowledge the impacts of white supremacy, imperialism, colonialism, and capitalism — not only within broader societal contexts, but also within our spiritual practices. Understanding and confronting these issues is important to me, and I am actively learning and unlearning the effects of these oppressive systems on our lives. I believe this is crucial for true personal healing and collective liberation.

Acknowledging Grief

Grief is part of life - not to be ignored but embraced as part of our journey. By exploring our grief with compassion and care, we foster deeper understanding and forge more meaningful connections. When working with me, your grief will always be honored—never rushed, avoided or bypassed.

Accessing Joy

In the midst of hardship, accessing joy is essential – it connects us to our aliveness. I think it's crucial that we carve out space for joy in our lives, allowing it to coexist with our challenges. Accessing joy can help illuminate our paths forward, guiding us through darkness with hope and resilience. I will always encourage you to explore the things that bring you joy.

When I share these values, I am mindful of the concern that it might seem like virtue signaling or superficial. However, these principles are genuinely very important to me. I am always open to learning and growing so that the work I share is meaningful and truly beneficial on both a community and collective level.
